Hiroko Ogawa studied sculpture at an art university and after graduating mainly created sculpture works. But the experience of  'Priming Water (Yobimizu)' at the well on the premises of the atelier reversed the style of the work, and changed into a phenomenological study that considered the bipolar nature of things.

Recent works mainly create fluid and experiential works in which a crack is put in a glassware and then water or ink is poured into it to cause water droplets to drop from the crack or slowly leak onto the pedestal.

The substance is decomposed throughout the artwork, research on the time and the nature behind the  substance, and daily personal

 fieldwork 'Running' explores every boundaries in a multi-dimensional way by morphological analysis.

When water flows from a pump-type well and does not come out, it is the water used to induce water by pouring water in from above.
